Best time to go: The weather is at its finest from December through March.
How to go: Bangkok Airways flies to Trat, on the mainland. From there, Koh Kood Resort will arrange a transfer via an hour-long powerboat ride. As an alternative, visitors can also travel 30 minutes by powerboat from Koh Chang.
Don't Miss: The fireflies that fill the dense mangroves lining the banks of the Klong Chao; canoe tours of the nightly spectacle can be arranged by the Koh Kood Resort.
