Three speakers, an award ceremony, and two panel discussions later, I was convinced that travel industry players-or at least the people that showed up today-are following the right path. If Tran Trong Kien, owner of the Vietnam-based Buffalo Tours can care enough to sponsor a nutrition program for 43 Hanoi orphans, why can't some of these major airlines, cruise ships, and hotels follow suit? Today's event proved just how successful and honorable a business can be when a little humanity is put into the mix.
