No one....NO ONE... in San Francisco refers to the town as "Frisco!" It is one of the most annoying references people make. Stop! It's stupid and lame and shows you know not even the basics about this city!

The Daily Traveler hears your concern, Tahoegrrl. Perhaps we should clarify that the person who wrote the post is in fact a native of the City--the Sunset, in fact--and admits to not finding the term "Frisco" annoying at all. Saying, "SanFran," however, is another story.
