Every May, Condé Nast Traveler releases its Hot List, a collection of the best new hotels, spas, restaurants, and nightspots. Check the Daily Traveler every day for a new post from this year's list.

Herbs and flowers grown on and near the grand 18th-century country estate of Luton Hoo, famed for its Capability Brown-designed gardens and now a golf and spa resort, define its treatments. Six rooms, named after botanical ingredients that are key to the spa's potions, adjoin infinity and hydrotherapy pools, a steam room, sauna, and saunarium. The pool area overlooks a shade garden and is sheltered by an oak-beam-and-glass roof (massages, $151).
