It's working! My blog, that is. I wanted Conde Nast Traveler readers and other savvy travelers to have a vehicle for sharing advice in real time. Lo and behold, it's working:

Remember a few days ago I posted Staying in a Convent in Italy, my answer to reader Deanna dellaVedova's question about how to get through to a sanctuary she wants to sleep in? Someone has written in with a better answer than mine:

"There is now an easy-to-use booking system for monasteries, convents, and other places run by religious orders in Italy. Go to Monastery Stays and see what they have to offer.
