WHERE'S WENDY? Round 10

by Wendy Perrin

Handwoven scarves, shawls and blankets are sold in this artisan textile studio in which town in Spain?
This artisan textile studio handweaves gorgeous wool scarves, shawls, and blankets.  Buy them here and  you'll pay half what you'd pay if you bought them in boutiques elsewhere in Spain.  Where am I?

Children at play in the town square, where the textile shop is located.
This is the main square of the town where the shop is located.

A few more clues:

Flowers spill out into the street in this charming Spanish town.
This is a typical street in this flower-festooned town.

The entrance to the textile shop: the number 10 above the door is the only clue to its address.
And this is the entrance to the artisan shop (yup, no sign).

Where am I?  Please name the town and the shop.  Lucky you, I won't ask you for the number of the highway nearby where I stopped to shoot this:

You're in Ezcaray, Spain.

As for the store...I'll hazard a guess and say that it's called Fabrica De Mantas. There's a textile store there by that name.

Or the store name could be Hijos de Cecilio Valganon Sa.

I say it's definitely Artesania Textil: Hijos De Cecilio Valganon Sa.

They're located at 10 Calle Gallarza, Ezcaray.

Oh, I see, "Fabrica de Mantas" just means that they make blankets. I need to brush up on my Spanish.

I find that their full name appears to be Artesania Textil: Hijos de Cecilio Valganon SL: Fabricas de Mantas y Tejidos de Lana

In English>> Textile Artesania: Children of Cecilio Valganon SL: Makers of Blankets and Tweeds

That was a hard one Wendy! You almost stumped me, if that's any consolation :D

Where *is* Wendy...and everyone else? No one posted anything today...

Hi Tracker,
You've nailed it again. The town is indeed Ezcaray, and the shop is Hijos de Cecilio Valganon, S.A. I've given up all hope of ever stumping you.
Wendy

aww you got it so quick, no one had a chance. And I was busy with out of town guests - a busy holiday weekend : 0)

Quickly? This one took me like two+ hours to find! And all the information was in Spanish!!! LOL

too quick for me too (I was also travelling again)

well done tracker
