Turn Your Travel Videos Into Cash
by Are you the kind of traveler who never goes anywhere without a video camera? If so, have we got a contest for you: Conde Nast Traveler has teamed up with the 2008 CineVegas Film Festival to create Trip Takes, a new short film competition.
We're looking for films that best capture the power of travel, and are no more than five minutes long. Make it a comedy, a drama, a musical -- whatever best suits your personality and style of travel.
Five finalists will be flown to Las Vegas to watch their films get screened before an expert jury and a live audience. The jury will award a $5,000 cash prize to their favorite filmmaker. The festival and online audience will submit their votes to crown a second, $2,500 cash prize winner.
