A public service announcement from The Perrin Post, in case you're as prone to forgetting holidays as we are: Father's Day is coming up on Sunday, June 21. If the man in your life deserves an extra-special treat this year and happens to be a golf nut, we've got two suggestions for a (slightly over-the-top) way to show your appreciation. At press time, both properties still had rooms available next weekend.

* The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, CA, is offering a night's stay in a bungalow room and two rounds of golf, plus early check-in and late checkout, for $875, including tax. This translates to savings of $360 per night since, if you booked the room and golf separately, your total would be $1,235.

    Condé Nast Traveler approved: The resort received three "flames" on our May issue's Hot List, meaning it's among the very top tier of hot new properties worldwide. And, unlike many hot new properties, it never charges for WiFi or valet parking, nor does it tack on resort fees.

* One&Only Palmilla, a Condé Nast Traveler Gold List property in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, is offering 30% off if you stay four nights. The price of $2,780 includes two rounds of golf, a $400 resort credit (which you can spend on food, spa services, or more golf), and daily breakfast. The total for all this would normally be $4,800, which means that this package translates to savings of about 40%.
