If You Won a $25K Dream Trip, Where Would You Go?
Meet Wanwisa Posner, winner of our 2008 Dream Trip Contest. She just got back from a $25,000 custom-tailored trip to the far-flung destinations of her dreams.

Haven't entered our 2009 Dream Trip Contest yet? Bet you will after reading what 2008 Dream Trip winner Wanwisa Posner has to say about the blowout trip she just returned from. She'll be recounting it as our guest blogger here on The Perrin Post for the next few weeks.
In real life Wanwisa is a wedding planner and event producer, as well as a serious foodie, photographer, and spa enthusiast. From the start she knew exactly where she wanted to go for her dream trip: She and her husband, Jay, wanted to swing through Hong Kong for a dim sum spree en route to the Maldives, for a relaxing island getaway and to try out scuba diving in the Indian Ocean. She even knew where she wanted to stay: The Peninsula Hong Kong, for its eye-popping harbor views and ESPA spa, followed by the Maldives' One&Only Reethi Rah, "to spend some stress-free time with my husband while soaking in our overwater villa's infinity pool."
My job, as Condé Nast Traveler's official Dream Trip planner, was to make sure Wanwisa's trip turned out perfect. The feature story on how I made that happen is in Condé Nast Traveler's August issue. The Maldives would be in my Top Three, for sure -- what an incredible trip!
I'd love to explore New Zealand most of all. The combination of high mountains, beaches and big-city culture is irresistable.

I've been on 6 of the 7 continents. Australia remains illusive. Throw in Tasmania & New Zealand for my ideal trip.

I'd go on & visit all the lesser visited islands of the world. Marshall Islands, Tuvulu, Tonga, Falklands, Azores, Posession.
All those places which are hard to get to; but are on my list nonetheless.
