Another Great Travel Promotion on Twitter
You could be on Cape Reinga soon: Follow Air New Zealand's Twitter feed and possibly win a free flight to the island country
If neither my print column on "How to Tweet Your Way to Amazing Travel Deals" nor my blog entry about Marriott Resorts' month-long October Trick-or-Tweet promotion convinced you of the travel perks you can glean from joining Twitter, perhaps this will:
Air New Zealand is giving away 30 free flights to New Zealand on Twitter--one each day over a 30-day period. Every day the airline posts a trivia question about New Zealand. If you follow the airline's tweets and you tweet back the correct answer, you're entered into a random drawing; if your name is drawn, you win that day's free flight giveaway. So far six trivia questions have been answered...which means there are still 24 prizes left.
