Which Perrin Post Do You Prefer?

I'm thrilled to announce that there are now two Perrin Post blogs: version #1 on Concierge.com and version #2 on Truth.Travel. Although my new entries should be pretty much identical, and I love having you visit at both places, you may find that one is more a service blog and the other is more a conversation with me:

1. The Perrin Post on truth.travel is specifically made for a community, so it is easier to comment.
You needn't fill out a long registration form just to be able to have a conversation with me or ask me a question. You need only provide your name and e-mail address.

2. The Perrin Post on truth.travel is a two-way street designed partly to increase traffic to YOUR web site.
If you've got a blog or other web site, and you punch in its URL when leaving a comment, your name will be hyperlinked to your site. This means that anybody who reads your comment and is impressed with your brilliant insights and wants to find out more about you can click on your name and be taken to your site.

3. The Perrin Post on truth.travel sends your email address straight to me.
It comes right into my e-mail In-box, which means I'm able to contact you back, request more specifics concerning your travel situation, and continue the conversation offline when that's appropriate.

4. The Perrin Post on truth.travel has a search box.
Want to find out whether I've covered a topic? You needn't get lost trying to navigate a dizzying array of topic categories. Just punch words into the Search box, Google-style.

Still, there are two good reasons why the Perrin Post on Concierge.com could work better for you:

1. You can get The Perrin Post on Concierge.com by e-mail or subscribe to it.
If you prefer to read my blog by getting it in your e-mail In-Box each day or subscribing to it via RSS, only the original has that capability...for now. I'll let you know when that mechanism is set up on truth.travel.

2. All my travel advice from the past three years is archived on Concierge.com.
The content that's there and still very relevant includes not just my hard-earned travel tips on everything from how to get free WiFi at the airport to how to avoid street scams overseas, but also all those invaluable first-hand trip reports from Conde Nast Traveler readers known as the Travel Specialist User Reviews.

So which Perrin Post should you read? My advice, after the jump.
When you want to ask me a question, leave a comment, or otherwise engage in a conversation with me and other savvy travelers--which is my great pleasure and why I started The Perrin Post--then do it here on truth.travel
But if you want to read my advice on topics I've covered, go to the Perrin Post on Concierge.com. Scroll down the left rail to "Topics Covered." If that doesn't work for you, try a Google search. Say you're trying to remember my advice on how to pack lightly for a cruise. Type "perrinpost how to pack lightly for a cruise" into Google. Or you can always just ask me whether I've covered the topic before, via Ask Wendy

Wherever you decide to read me, I'll be happy to see you there. Meanwhile, I'd love to hear your feedback on either of the Perrin Posts -- or both!
