Great Travel Moment This picture was taken on a very hot day (112 degrees) in Rathambore Park in India. This male and female needed to cool off in a small natural pool of water and curiously they walked backwards into the water. Apparently it is unusual to see two tigers together in this park. The park was closed temporarilyin late 2006 (after our trip) due to poaching; I've wondered whether these two survived? |

Beautiful shot!! These are beautiful creatures. I hope they survived. Why would people want to destroy the animals in the world? I know the answer but I just don't like it. I thought the parks were created to protect them. Thanks for sharing the beautiful photo.
