Great Travel Moment On day five of our cruise to Bermuda, my husband and I were walking through St. George's when we noticed brightly colored, glimmering fish oddly lined up on the sidewalk near the edge of an inlet. Taking pity on the fish, my mother and sister who had joined us on the trip suggested that my husband gently toss the poor little guys back into the water. Just as he was putting down our small bounty of shopping bags to rescue the animals, a local fisherman carrying handmade lures and rods walked toward us, popping the fish one by one into a bucked of ice.We instantly realized what was happening and burst out laughing at ourselves. If my husband had thrown the fish back into the water there's no doubt the fisherman would have tossed us in right behind his meal! Still in hysterics, we began snapping pictures furiously. |
