Great Travel Moment The first and last moments of the day always cast the most flattering light upon almost any subject. I was finishing an assignment in a most unappealing industrial area of Honolulu, Sand Island. This area is the site of ocean freight warehousing, oil refineries and holding tanks and industrial baseyards of every description. As I began to drive away, my eye was caught by the emerald colors of the last rays of daylight reflecting off of the glass of the skyscrapers surrounding the Aloha Tower Marketplace across the canal. By the time I retrieved my camera, the clouds had turned a salmon hue which was being reflected in the water. Beauty can be found everywhere...sometimes you simply have to look for it..sometimes it reaches out to you. |

Photoho: You have very nice photos and as far as I know I have not left negative critique on any of your photos. I choose this one to leave this message because I like it very much and I know I left a positive comment in the past. I thought I would reply to your comment on my photo "Stuck in Limbo". I do not understand what you meant by "STFU". I know it must be shorthand for something but I am stumped. Anyways I hope your comment on my ongoing dialogue with one psycho does not reflect back to you. Thanks.
