Great Travel Moment

My boyfriend, Andy, and I were hiking around the base of the Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica in October. I climbed atop an interesting pile of stones because I thought it would make a neat picture. Just as I reached the top, the ground began to rumble and several nearby hikers were heard gasping. Arenal was erupting! Andy shouted,"Freeze!!" and began snapping away with the camera. It wasn't until the eruption was over and I climbed back down that I saw the dissipating plume of smoke that Arenal had just burped. The fantastic timing of it all made for an unforgettable moment on our first vacation together.
