Great Travel Moment

I took my 15 year old daugher Anna and her best friend Karen to Berumda last summer. Anna and Karen have remained best friends since 4th grade and their friendship has endured our move from Austin, Texas to the Philadelphia suburbs 5 years ago. The two girls are like sisters. Last summer I offered to take them to our favorite vacation retreat, Bermuda. The girls had an absolutely wonderful time, and it was so gratifying for me to be able to give them an experience that they will never forget They had tennis lessons together, tanned on the beautiful pink sand beaches, shopped, and did what teenaged girls do together. The best part of their trip was just bringing them together. I think this photo really sums up both the joy they felt in sharing this experience, and the beauty and splendor of this wonderful island retreat.
