Great Travel Moment Mosques are often a magical place in the Arabian Peninsula. The few mosques that open to the public allow visitors to learn and understand the culture and history of Islam. Oftentimes, even the locals visit the mosque not just for prayer, but also to view and explore the incredibly beautiful structures. I was captivated by these four young Omani boys who spent over an hour exloring the mosque with wide eyes. I don't know if these four young boys were brothers, but they traveled the vast mosque complex, hand in hand, the entire time they explored the mosque. |
