Great Travel Moment

This brother and sister live in a small jungle hut in the Vaupes jungle area of Colombia. To visit this area I joined a local doctor who cares for people along the Vaupes river. We traveled in a small open outboard boat because the doctor has little money. Part of his work is to distribute food parcels donated by non-profit agencies. The doctor told me he only gives his limited supply of food parcels to pregnant women so the newborn will have fewer medical problems.Charles Marden Fitch
