Great Travel Moment

Beijing China - July 2004. While in Beijing, I felt a bit uneasy. A country of change - a culture with rules/laws that I was not familiar with. I was up early, just after sunrise. As I walked along the walls of the Forbidden City; A group of military were running down the street towards me. At first, I could just hear their feet hitting the pavement in unison. As they approached, I ran to get a good perspective. Fear, excitement - the thrill of uncertainty overcame me as I snapped a couple shots as they passed. This experience epitomized my trip to China - an amazing country on the brink of change that ultimately changed the way I view the world.
