Great Travel Moment I always dreamed I'd go to Africa. From the time I was a little girl and watching Out of Africa with my grandmother, I knew I had to go. At 29, my husband and I struck out for the Sahara desert in Tunisia. I remember the first time my foot touched the soil of this great continent, tears filled my eyes. Africa has never released its grip on my heart since. On camelback we spent our time with a French couple who spoke no English, and a tribe of singing Bedouins. We had no idea this picture even existed as we lost our film at the end of the trip. Fortunately the tour company owner was able to retrieve it two months later. To our amazement this photo captured all our feelings about this trip, one filled with wonder, mystery and the endless expanse of desert. |

Great photo and a really good story. I like Nadine also love Africa. I have been to Kenya, and I too cried when I left. Africa takes hold of your heart and won't let go. I said to my husband one evening while we watched the sun set, I think God lives here. Nice work!!! Here's 4 stars.
