Great Travel Moment

Paris is the perfect place to learn how to everyday life in random moments. I felt that way about French film, but after visiting Paris and taking photographs in the different neighborhoods with a college friend, I felt like I was retraining my eye to look. Even winter grayness can be so rich and beautiful in the Parisian light. Last January I was intrigued with how inviting the little hidden neighborhood gardens were in the city just like the pale yellow blossoms in this image. It seemed like each home had some promise of spring even on the coldest day of the year.
