This picture was taken minutes before the end of a day in the summer of 2005. This pier was overlooking lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans. The pier was frequently visited by people who came to fish, walk, or just to look at scenes like the one presented. As you may have noticed, I have bee speaking in the past because this pier was taken by Katrina.
