Great Travel Moment

This image was takes on a summer cruise trip to Juneau, Alaska. We spent the afternoon travelling by float plan to a remote lodge, formely a doglsedding camp. The flight was misty with views of glaciers and waterfalls- a trip that had to be done out of necessity for supplies/food when the original owners inhabited the lodge. The experience was mystical, not only for its beauty, but for the insight it provided into the true Alaska of days gone by. We also spent some time in the afternoon with a local bear who fearlessly ate salmon off the grill in the presence of 20 of his newest friends!
