Great Travel Moment

Within the Forbidden City of Beijing China, one of the first sights is the small river that runs through the compound. While there in late February, Beijing had just had a very rare snowfall, and the river had iced over. I was able to capture this shot as it started to slowly melt in the rising sunshine. The curve of the wall and it's shadows captured my camera.
