Great Travel Moment I was a little nervous when I decided to trek to Peru by myself. I signed up to hike the Salkantay Trail, more difficult, and less crowded than the Inca Trail, but still leads to Machu Picchu. Our group of nine instantly bonded on the first night huddled at dinner in below freezing temperatures. The hiking was intense as we climbed over 4700 meters, and we all kept each other going. This group shot shows the culmination of our journey, and reminds me of the amazing friends I made on this trip. Traveling alone was the best decision I could have made. |

I also traveled alone to Machu Picchu. The view from above was awesome - I want to go again!
