Great Travel Moment

I had been hoping for a moment such as this to photograph these new friends. My husband and I volunteered with a service group at a boy's home in Granada, Nicaragua this summer. I had been frustrated by my inability to meaningfully connect with them in Spanish. The icebreaker though, was a pantomimed story about my husband's childhood visit to a bull ring in Mexico, where he got nudged by a goat (that he thought it was a bull) and fled. Instant laughter erupted with these delighted"Nuevo amigos"!
