Great Travel Moment

Photography has been my hobby for over 25 years. A few years ago on a trip to Costa Rica I took my then 10 year old son out into to rain forest on the slopes of Aranel Volcano to teach him the basics of photogrphic composition. He helped me to set up this shot on a tripod. Not only were we entranced by the sheer beauty of the rainforest but every time I look at that photo I think back to one of the most satisfying afternoons of my life, with the volcano rattling above us.
