Great Travel Moment

As our group came up to the river we heard a uproar to our right. There, just like in a foreign movie, came this bunch of mauraders on horse, mule and, a few, straggling donkeys. It was so unexpected... so unreal, I am amazed I had the where with all to raised my camera to snap the moment. Only as the the beasts surrounded us did we realize that they had come to offer their services to cross the river and visit the casbah on the other side. I will never forget the unexpected excitement of man and beast crossing that river. And yes, we took them up on their offer!
