Great Travel Moment

This photo was taken at the Parque Nacional Los Medanos de Coro, just outside of Punto Fijo, Venezuela. This breathtaking park, which includes an expanse of amazing sand dunes, seemingly appears out of nowhere as you approach it on the highway. It is just so surreal. In this photo, my happiness can be noted as well as my carefree attitude. In fact, the only care in the world I had at that moment was the sand sticking to my legs! It was the perfect day! This trip to Venezuela will always be very special to me. Not only was it my first trip to South America, but my now husband, who is a native Venezuelan, proposed to me while there.
