Great Travel Moment

This was our first night in the Cinque Terre. We settled into the apartment we rented from a lovely, little, Italian lady. The views of the harbor and ocean from the windows were dreamy and the sounds of life down below charming. Later that night we were treated with a birds eye view of a communion. The whole town had gathered and the procession made it's way down the streets from the church to the harbor. We could watch and listen from our windows and thought what a lucky chance to be able to share in this joyous occasion. The candles had been lit and all the paths lined with fresh flowers, truly magical. This was the best welcome anyone could have ever imagined.............
