Great Travel Moment Our first close-up experience with the Nile River was at Aswan, where we took a sunset sail in a felucca (a traditional sailboat used on the Nile for centuries). Nubian boys would paddle out to us in these small, homemade wooden boats, smiling, laughing, practising their English with"Hello! Where are you from?", and singing"Row, Row, Row Your Boat" as they attempted to keep up with us. |
