This was our honeymoon in the Dominican Republic, where my husband was chased by a crazy local with a pie. They fought it out and both ended up with frosting faces. The locals are what made the trip unforgettable, with their genuine joy for life and sweet generosity. The people we will never forget even though we were with them for a short time.
