This little girl of five, rides on the back of a cart, her entire family, father, mother and three older brothers, are headed for Lhasa, the spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhists. The trip can take them up to 10 months, as they prosterate the entire way. From a standing position, hands in prayer, they reach for the ground, lay flat and stretch their fingers towards Lhasa, and back to standing. They can then step forward to the place their fingers touched and start again. All this as meditation durning the journey. Too little, she stays in the cart, her bicycle with training wheels in tow from the back, happy to share a cookie with the tourist.
