Great Travel Moment Traveling from the capitol city of San Jose, Costa Rica to the western coast of Guanacoste peninsula was an amazing day of sightseeing. A car trip through long, winding country roads, aka the"main highway", eventually dumped us onto an unpaved dirt road which would lead us to Punta Islita. 12 miles of travel along a dusty, bumpy road and across a river bed, led us to, 2 1/2 hours later, the most unbelievable oasis. A 5 1/2 hour long journey to wind up in a luxury"room with a view" overlooking the Pacific Ocean. |
