Great Travel Moment Wuli Village is like a time capsule. A five-mile hike from the nearest road, a village with no western influence, a village that had never seen a foreigner before, was something I didn't even know still existed. The villagers of Wuli are healthy at age 75, happy without satellite TV, and content with eating meat only once a week. I dont think I have ever seen such genuine smiles and sincere hospitality. During Lunar New Year, Wuli greeted me with elaborate costumes, fire crakers, and a feast. The people of Wuli welcomed me into their homes and ultimately their hearts. |

Great photo - color and composition drew my attention to the larger image in which I could see the girl's expression. Nice job.
