Great Travel Moment

Most people go to Chateau Whistler Hotel to enjoy the slopes, the snow and the nightly ambiance. Being from Southern California, snow is not on my list. But I found that spring was a delightful time to visit. There was snow to view from a distance, the weather was chilly, but not freezing, and the scenery was gorgeous! Water was melting and rushing everywhere. A horseback ride through rivers and meadows just made my day. And the crowds that flock to the slopes had dwindled. A beautiful season to visit.
