Great Travel Moment

When I was a child, my Mother would take my five brothers and me to the 2,000 acre Mohonk Mountain Resort - to run, play, explore and hike. We could not afford to stay as Guests - but we spent most every summer with at least one visit to Mohonk! On January 3rd, my Mother turned 80 and as a suprize - we became overnight guests and held a Birthday Party with my Brothers and their families. The next morning, my Mother insisted on climbing Mohonk Mountain and sitting in a Gazebo, looking down at the Resort and reliving the years of memories we had enjoyed on Mohonk Mountain. A stranger came by and took this picture - capturing our celebration of what Mohonk has meant to our family. I hope all of your readers find a"Mohonk Mountain" of their own to enjoy! Happy 2007!
