Great Travel Moment

On our way home from our last holiday an ice storm caused major airline delays and cancellations. Upon arrival for our connecting flight in Lisbon, we were asked to volunteer to take a flight the next day in exchange for an overnight stay in the city and some airline vouchers. Since this was our first trip to Europe, we jumped at the chance of spending a day in Portugal's capital city. The architechture there was amazing as you can see from this example of the arch in the city harbour area. We took a sightseeing tour of the city and enjoyed a four star hotel meals& a good bottle of portugese wine, compliments of the airline.
