Great Travel Moment

On a drive through Yellowstone National Park last summer we stopped to see the geyser fields. They have an"other-worldly" look to them, especially when you consider the smell of the fumes and the unexpected colors produced by the bacteria in the waters. A simple"landscape" doesn't capture it. An abstract"close-up" always reminds me of the almost alien character of the place.
