Great Travel Moment

The first time I visited China was with my girlfriend (now my wife). Her relatives live in Dalian, one of the coastal cities that has been completely transformed in the past decade. During my time in Dalian, I visited all the nearby attractions. One of the scenes that really captivated me was this of the fishing boats along one of the beaches less frequented by tourists. Although China has been growing at unprecedented rates during the past decades, this image shows that not everyone has been transformed by that growth. These peasants are still trying to scrape by with the old methods of fishing and are definitely struggling to make ends meet.
