Great Travel Moment

One of the stops on the way during my year long trip around the Pacific Rim in 2007 was Australia. Australia was a bust from the start. One of those trips where nothing seems to go right. Finally, we decided to take a sailboat ride through the Whitsunday islands, and this is when our luck finially started turning around. On day 2 we came to this amazing view. They brought us in to Whitehaven Beach and let us out to doa little hike. When we finally reached the top of this hike, this is what we say. Breathtaking. In my mind, this can only exist in fairy tales,, but here it was right in front of my face! How lucky we were to have been granted the opportunity to see this amazing sight!
