Great Travel Moment

The day after I had made the hike to the summit of Half Dome, I wanted to capture this iconic piece of rock from an area that really showed its profile at sunset with some alpenglow. I was rewarded while hiking the Panorama Trail which descends from Glacier Point. This afternoon the weather was perfect and I found my perfect angle. Yosemite is truly a special inspiring place and it was enjoyable spending time with family and great friends in a place where Ansel Adams perfected his craft.
