Great Travel Moment

Everyone in my tour group wanted to go to the market in Jaipur. The guide was hesitant because it was very hot that day (120 + degrees Fahrenheit) and the market was extremely crowded. We found out that most of them wanted to buy unusual souvenirs and, little did I know that, it was their birthday gift to me. They found out from a friend who was in the tour that I liked local markets. I had to have a picture of me in this sari that I tried on to buy. The owner of the store was standing next to me. After I paid for it, he told me that this was a "special" sari. It was a wedding sari! I have never been in a country with temperatures over 120 degrees centigrade and probably almost 100 % humidity. If you look closely, my face was wet with perspiration. This picture is one of my best birthday souvenirs.
