Great Travel Moment

After a day of hiking, across the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California, we were beat. We had traversed across granite rocks, climbed high atop mountains and dropped deep into valleys. Looking for the perfect place to pitch our tent and settle in for the night. Searching for shelter from the wind and a nice comfortable meadow to sleep upon. Just when we thought we would never find such a spot, we made our way down a narrow trail and there it was. A beautiful small meadow surrounded by huge granite rocks. We could not have asked for more. These tiny delicate flowers were growing out of the granite rocks. Soft tender pedals finding life in rock solid granite. Such a contrast. We will definitely return to this location, if we can ever find it again, that is!!
