Great Travel Moment One of the things that strike me the most about Chinese children is that they do not wear diapers. Instead, their pants have slits so they can just go to the bathroom whenever they have to go and wherever they are. I took this picture in Beijing's Tian'an Men Square of a couple and their child because this little boy had just a few seconds ago gone to the bathroom in the Square. No, he did not use a bathroom or hide behind a bush. Instead, he tinkled right in front of Mao Zedong's infamous portrait. I was in total disbelief. From that moment on, I started noticing that slit in the pants and just wondered where else those children have gone to the bathroom. So far, I have seen it at the Forbidden City and Olympic Park as well. |
