Great Travel Moment We took a ferry from the european side of Istanbul, to a little town (Anadalu Kavagi) in Asia. The fish was reeled that morning out of the Bosphorus. The food in an upstairs restaurant was the most amazing, unusual, interesting combination of flavors with the freshest fish ever. We walked up a hill to an ancient ruin overlooking the Black Sea, dating back to Georgian 14th century and beyond, at the mouth of the Bosphorus. Turkey is amazing and strewn from one end to another with statuary and sculpture, a mix of cultural diversity beyond anything we'd ever experienced. From the brilliant rug dealers to the beautiful, graceful women to the fantastic spirited entrepreneurs of the streets of Istanbul or the lanes of Antalya, Turkey was a stunning delight. |
