Great Travel Moment

After two years of planning (and many passport delays), my husband and I finally went to Paris for the first time! My husband loves biking. Although I'm a little uncoordinated, I agreed to take an 8-hour bike tour to Versailles. The day started off a little rocky when I nearly fell down the steps with my bike at the train station. However, once we started riding in Versailles everything was great. Our group made our first stop outside of the Grand Trianon, where I took this picture through a small opening in a door. Just past the weathered white paint, you can see the beautiful pink palace hidden behind the gates. It was our first glimpse into the lives of French royalty. After getting back to our hotel that night, my husband and I realized we had both taken the exact same picture at different times. It was our favorite day of our trip and our favorite picture!
