Great Travel Moment We were on a cruise through the Carribean, and stopped in Grenada about a year after a hurricane devestated it. There were still blue tarps covering many of the unrepaired house roofs, and the island incinerator had been destroyed and not yet repaired. We took a private tour car to the beach at the other side of the island, and passed by the place where all the collected garbage had been dumped over the last year. The photo is not typically "tourist beautiful", but it is real, and is a memory that balances all the beautiful ones. |
