Great Travel Moment We had been to the Grand Canyon once before during the summer and even hiked a portion of the Bright Angel trail along with a crowd of people and the mules. We had always said that we wanted to go back, so while on a trip to Sedona, Arizona in January we decided to head up to the Canyon to experience it in the middle of winter. We were told that the Canyon would be quite different in the winter; colder, more vibrant and obviously less crowded. We found all of this to be true. The canyon was more breathtaking than I remembered. I found this particular view to be the most spectacular because you can truly see how the Grand Canyon was formed over the ages by the powerful flowing waters of the Colorado River now deep down in the bottom of the Canyon. |
