Great Travel Moment

This photo is special because it is in Yosemite National Park after we (my fiancé Travis and I) accomplished a 3 mile hike up-hill in the snow to see the beautiful redwood trees. The hike was long and tiring but the beauty of the trees made the work well worth it. This is the first redwood that we saw and it took our breath away. We stood in stunned silence and stared for a number of minutes. The hike was special to me because it was something that we overcame as a team. When I began to get tired and ask if we could turn around, he was there to encourage me by reminding me of the beauty that we were going to encounter. I know that I would not have made it to see the redwoods if it had not been for Travis.
